The backbone of our manufacturing facilities is the machinery we deploy to help us maintain our image of Best Quality and On-Time Delivery, as well as the manpower and attention to detail that every member of staff provides.

We provide the following services to our customers:

Design

Our design team utlilzes top-of-the-line software packages including Solid Edge and Autocad to produce designs from communicated ideas or from prior work. These designs allow the designers and clients to flesh out the requirements of the job without creating a prototype, from flat-designs with exact dimensions to 3D Renderings with accurate final-product detail. This allows customers to view parts in 3 dimensional detail prior to the first piece of metal being processed, and make any changes that are required before comitting to production.

We are able to provide design services to clients with existing designs requiring modification, from the requirements set out by the client, or from a finished product without any existing design. The combination of these abilities allows FJP Manufacturing to provide design assistance that many other manufacturing businesses can't.

Laser Cutting

We currently operate a 3kW Trumpf laser cutting machine with the ability to provide manual or unmanned laser-cutting services. The machine can cut sheet-metal to the following specifications:

• 6mm Aluminum
• 10mm Stainless Steel
• 20mm Mild Steel

The laser is coupled with an automated storage tower for storage of raw materials and finished products for large batch jobs.

Panel Bending

FJP Manufacturing makes full use of a state-of-the-art Salvagnini P4 Panel Bender, a sheet metal bending machine capable of folding steel of sizes up to 2500mmx1200mmx3mm.

This machine allows hands-free operation to improve production efficiency as well as enabling the use of custom tooling to provide a wide range of capabilities to the customer.

Using the P4, FJP Manufacturing has produced panels for a wide range of applications like Stainless Steel fridge doors, paneling for air-conditioning, telecoms, power distribution and fascia panels for buildings and ceilings, as well as computer racking and panelling for the IT industry- many of which are presently only available for manufacture outside of Australia.

Welding and Pressing

FJP Manufacturing provides welding services for assembly using a robotic mig welding machine capable of high or low volume applications.

We also provide pressing and punching using automated machinery capable of punching, guillotining and sorting of finished products into pallets or bins for despatch or ensuing operations. Additionally, we can provide insertion services at up to 1500 studs per hour using a laser-guided hardware insertion press.

Screenprinting

We have in-house capabilities to screenprint logos and instructions on both ferrous and non-ferrous materials in a number of sizes, to the clients specifications. To complement this we also have the ability to produce our own artwork, saving the customer time and money by providing a complete service in one place.

Powder Coating

Our in house powder coating facility has full in-line pre-treatment with phosphating capabilities and automatic colour application if required on larger runs. This allows us to provide finished products to the customer without the job having to leave our premises, saving time and money as well as allowing us to apply our strict quality guidelines to more of the final product.

Assembly

Our versatile assembly area provides the ultimate complement to our manufacturing facilities. We value add, assemble mechanical mechanisms, wire electronic assemblies through to the finished "turn key" product. Our aim is to manufacture to your satisfaction and requirements.
